Ne: Alaska was a girl who was restless when it came to trying out new things. She was in for the experience, and came up with several ideas that she wanted to do to make her presence in the academy memorable, to make sure everyone in the next generations will know that once a girl named Alaska studied there. Alaska was very unpredictable and wild, and an independent spirit who lived in the world of possibilities, which is also the reason why she and Miles developed such a strong connection with each other after clicking instantly; Miles caught up to all of her ideas, and talked to her about her idea of The Labyrinth of Misery, and how she wanted to find a solution to it. Introverted Intuition (Ni): Obi-Wan is an admirer of Yoda, and he takes the older Jedi’s advice about being mindful of the future seriously.  While training the young Anakin, he is always aware of the danger he poses to the Jedi Order, and he randomly gets flashes of future visions of things to come.  When assigned to watch over Luke on Tattooine, he has the patience to wait for the right moment (a whole 19 years!) to start training him as a Jedi.  When dueling with Vader aboard the Death Star, Obi-Wan sees further ahead than anyone else, sacrificing his life to allow Luke and the others to escape, and to guarantee that he can still guide Luke (in spirit form) without have to run or hide from the Empire.  Obi-Wan’s chosen lightsaber style is a defensive one; he defeats his enemies using patience.  Obi-Wan is able to guess, with suspicions but no real evidence, that Padme is pregnant with Anakin’s child. Ti: Tris analyses the situation before leaping to action. She primarily uses common sense, and it shows—especially in the way how she’s constantly scolding herself whenever her ‘irrational’ feelings overwhelm her, and she would never let herself to be led around by them, not under any circumstances. She suppresses her emotions because of her craving for staying true to her own logical system at all times. Tris doesn’t have a tendency to organize her thoughts outside herself—neither verbally nor visually—because she struggles through complex problems in silence, within her head. She always thinks of something, then acts on it without telling anyone about it, for example when without a word she went to climb the Ferris wheel. Tris also spends a great deal of time analysing herself for better understanding of herself, and to determine what her intentions were when doing some of her acts, for instance when she went back to the net and recalled the moment when she jumped off the rooftop—she analysed the scenario and came to the conclusion that she hadn’t done it to be like the Dauntless, but because she had already been like them and wanted to show herself to them, while simultaneously acknowledging a part of herself that Abnegation demanded that she hides. He was forever telling them to think in a unique way, and to look at things from various perspectives. Ni: Sam is the one to do all the researches, and it’s partially because his Ni makes him patient to dig deeply enough to get the desired amount of information and to also distinguish the needed details. He has premonitions/impressions which help him foresee the future. For instance, he sensed something was off in Home, when he insisted they stayed there in front of their childhood house to see if something would happen even after purging (and he was right about the premonition). Sam also struggled throughout his childhood, especially when he hit his teens, due to his strong aim to which he stuck strictly. It was also the reason why he didn’t get on well with the rest of his family. Sam is the one to tell which information is important for the case, and which is the one they can discard. Dominant Si: Theoden’s goal in life is to be a great king in the tradition of his famous ancestors. This desire drives both his good and bad decisions. Wormtongue never corrupts Theoden: rather, he convinces Theoden that Wormtongue’s advice will best safeguard Rohan’s legacy. When Gandalf comes and helps Theoden to realize the depth of Wormtongue’s treachery, some of Theoden’s first concerns focus on the protection of his family line and the royal hall his ancestors built. Theoden faithfully acts the part of a traditional king of Rohan as he battles Saruman and, later, the forces of Sauron. Dominant Si: Susan generally tries to rely on past experience to solve the problems that she and her siblings face. When the Pevensies are sent away from London to the Professor’s house, Susan tries to do what their mother would have done in taking care of her siblings. She reminds Edmund to go to bed, breaks up arguments, and ensures that her siblings wear coats when they leave the wardrobe for the snowy Narnian world. Susan cares about meeting social expectations and being polite. When she realizes that Mr. Beaver wants to be complimented on his dam, she promptly does so. Susan’s concern about being socially acceptable means that she does not accompany the Narnian armies during her reign. Corin describes her as being “more like an ordinary grown-up lady” than her INFP sister, Lucy, who regularly rides to the wars alongside their brothers. Ultimately, Susan’s concerns about meeting social expectations override her memories of Narnia. She ends up caring more about society perceiving her as an attractive, well-adjusted young woman than she does about living in this world with a Narnian perspective, since she knows that she cannot physically return to Narnia. As a result, she is not party to her siblings’ plan to save Narnia, and she does not arrive in the new Narnia with them. Introverted Feeling (Fi): Hagrid takes a liking to everyone he meets, unless they give him some reason to be unlikeable.  He is immediately accepting of Ron and Hermione when Harry brings them over for tea, but he can’t stand Draco Malfoy, who is notorious as a bully and a bigot.  His compassion even extends to dangerous monsters (his pets have included dragons, giant man-eating spiders, and vicious three-headed dogs), and he often labors under the delusion that even the most bloodthirsty creatures in existence are, in fact, harmless.  Hagrid has an unshakable loyalty to Albus Dumbledore, and will physically attack anyone who dares to insult him, but that doesn’t stop him from criticizing Dumbledore to his face when he believes the Hogwarts headmaster is making a mistake.  Hagrid is very emotional, but he doesn’t like to show his feelings to anyone else; when he is found to be a descendant of giants, he retreats to his cabin for several weeks, brooding on his shame and embarrassment alone.  Hagrid takes it personally when Harry, Ron, and Hermione discontinue taking Care of Magical Creatures in their sixth year, and the three of them have to convince him that they are not actually snubbing him.
