Ni: Stephen Hawking is a problem solver who’s goal is “complete understanding of the universe.” He also likes to describe himself as “master of the universe.” Many of his arguments contain intuitive leaps that are only followable because he provides the Te evidence necessary to prove them (I say prove…nothing can really be proved. All you can do is disprove). Hawking is good at visualizing the universe –it’s been said his brain is like a giant virtual map. Continue reading

Fi: Lucy always follows her heart, even when her head and her siblings are telling her otherwise. She tends to be a bit over-trusting of people, which can get her into trouble at times, but generally, it serves to make her gentle and loving. Though she is sensitive to other people’s criticisms, she is quick to forgive, and quicker to love. Lucy wants to put herself to good service and loves to help people. Aslan’s Christmas gift to her is one that aids her Continue reading

Introverted Sensing (Si): We’re familiar with heroes that fight the call to adventure and eventually accepts their task. How about Rincewind, who never ever ever stops fighting the call to adventure. All Rincewind wants to do is avoid contact with anything new. He does everything in his power (not always very much) to prevent Continue reading

Ne: Bruno loves to explore. He loves reading adventure books and prefers fiction to any other type of reading. He’s distracted in his tutoring lessons, and doesn’t pay attention much to anything that seems boring to him. Bruno, though naive and young, can usually tell when there’s something that his parents don’t want him to know about or do Continue reading

Extraverted Intuition (Ne): Molly can typically read behind the lines where other people are oblivious. She picks up on subtleties in people’s behaviour that most people miss and comes to conclusions about their inner states of being. Molly relies primarily on intuition to figure things out even though she doesn’t always put two and two together logically. Continue reading

Te: Gale doesn’t like to sit by and do nothing when there are things to be done. At times, Katniss finds his rants and plans for changing district 12 annoying and unrealistic (but only because she’s Si-hesitant to act before all the details are worked out). Gale is a strategic thinker even in the starkest situations and when Katniss is leaving for the Games, he’s Continue reading

Dominant Introverted Thinking (Ti): Han readily points out flaws in other people’s plans. He likes to build things and make “modifications” to the Millennium Falcon. Han always needs to know why before he’ll join a cause, and is good at understanding technicalities. He doesn’t feel the need to rationalise his decisions to others and doesn’t particularly communicate his thoughts and motives very well. Continue reading

Ni: Harvey Dent has a singular mission, which he devotes his life and time to fulfilling. He would never leave anything up to chance, though he likes to pretend that he does, but rather, does everything with a purpose and a specific end in mind. He has a strong grasp of irony and Continue reading

Ti: Chase is detail oriented and logical. He doesn’t hesitate to point out when he sees a problem with other people’s logic. At most times, Chase is level-headed and calm. He cares more about details than facts, but when he’s depressed or stressed out, he neglects this dominant trait and makes perilous detail mistakes (that wind up getting him in trouble). Continue reading

Extraverted Intuition (Ne): After being dosed with Retcon, Gwen is still able to recall her encounters with Torchwood because she’s able to piece together bits of information and thereby connect the dots in her memory. Gwen is able to connect seemingly random pieces of information to figure out how to solve the problems Torchwood faces. Gwen has an intuitive Continue reading
