Harry Potter, J. K. Rowling
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Viktor speaks little and chooses his words carefully. Although he is widely beloved across the wizarding world, he is largely indifferent to, say, the favoritism he receives from his headmaster, or the constant swooning of fangirls. His method of rescuing Hermione in the second Triwizard task is not so straightforward, but it does have some theoretical sense. When Viktor suspects a more-than-friendly relationship between Harry and Hermione, he questions Harry in private in order to inform himself; in doing this, he not only puts more stock in words than empirical evidence, but he also shows obliviousness to the social implications of talking to Harry under these circumstances (because he is from a Dark Arts-oriented school, Durmstrang). As a Seeker in Quidditch matches, Viktor largely operates alone, leaving teamwork to the other players.
Extroverted Sensing (Se): Viktor is the star a of a topflight national Quidditch team as a teenager; even more than that, he single-handedly MAKES the Bulgarian national team what it is. Even in defeat, he is the undisputed star in the Quidditch World Cup final against Ireland, partly through using dangerous tactics that he can execute better than his opponents. To get past a dragon in the Triwizard Tournament, Viktor shows the most gumption out of the four competitors, choosing the riskiest and most direct route possible to complete the task. Viktor has a very visual memory (he recognizes the symbol that Xenophilius Lovegood wears as the one carved by a school-aged Gellert Grindelwald), but he isn’t always acquainted with the full history of what he sees (he doesn’t know the origin of the symbol).
Introverted Intuition (Ni): Viktor is adept at anticipating his opponents’ actions during Quidditch matches. He also has the foresight to search for the Snitch during timeouts to get a head start if he sees it. When Viktor has his goal in from of him, nothing can distract him from it, not even a Bludger to the face. Viktor does not exercise all his options in his dating life, instead focusing on a single girl that he finds particularly attractive; he ignores the numerous fangirls who follow him around in order to date Hermione. When he talks about something, Viktor tends to stay on topic instead on rambling.
Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Viktor is aware of what Hogwarts students in general think of Durmstang; he hates being painted with the same broad brush as the professors who teach Dark Magic, and he is grateful to anyone who is polite to him in spite of his association with Durmstrang (like Cedric). It takes Viktor a lot of courage to ask Hermione to go to the Yule Ball with him, as he doesn’t want her to reject him. Viktor’s dislike of the Dark Arts comes from the experiences of his family; his grandfather was murdered during Grindelwald’s reign of terror.
