Guardians of the Galaxy
Dominant Extraverted Intuition (Ne): Peter is good at figuring things out, but not making long-term plans, like when he distracted Ronin and grabbed the Orb so the planet wouldn’t be destroyed. Sometimes he spaces out, which allows Gamora to attack him to steal the Orb and get hit in the head at the prison. Before the Guardians go to stop Ronin, he tries to give them hope by giving them a pep talk.
Auxiliary Introverted Thinking (Ti): Peter builds gadgets to help him do his job better and outsmart opponents. He gives Yondu the container with a troll doll instead of the Orb inside. At the prison, he lets Rocket lead their group and follows his lead. When Rocket is explaining the prison escape plan, he immediately wants to know how they’re supposed to get the battery if it’s twenty feet up a wall. His spaceship is disorganized, and he isn’t bothered by it. Instead of shooting the enemy ships, he uses his space pod to crash into them.
Tertiary Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Peter persuades people to do what he wants instead of threatening them. When Drax is attacking Gamora, Peter convinces him to join them, with the promise that he can kill Ronin when they find him. During the prison escape, he somehow gets the guy to give him his prosthetic leg. When Gamora says she doesn’t dance, he tells her that on Earth, they had a story about people who didn’t dance and were saved by “the great hero Kevin Bacon.” When he and Gamora are kidnapped by the Ravagers, Peter convinces Yondu that he needs them, unlike Rocket, who shows up to rescue them and threatens Yondu to give them back.
Inferior Introverted Sensing (Si): Peter is very attached to the mixed tapes and tape player his mother gave him, to the point where he delays the prison escape to find them. He also gets annoyed when people listen to his music without permission and calls himself Star-lord because his mother did. He keeps promises and gets mad when other people don’t. He is good at following directions (most of the time), like during the prison break.
